More Liberty and Humphrey

Hello!

I can't believe the summer is almost over and classes start on Monday! Part of that disbelief is my lack of preparedness, but I will deal with that!

Phoebe turned in her second Barnes and Noble reading list and this time picked out Summer According to Humphrey as her free book, which she promptly read. She also read the next two Liberty Porter books, New Girl in Town and Cleared for Takeoff. I believe she is onto School Days According to Humphrey at the moment. As you can see, these two were a big hit this summer!

We are almost done with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and we are hoping to have it done by Saturday, so we can watch the movie. Phoebe is planning to be Hermione for Halloween, which, since we try to do family costumes, I get to be McGonagall and David will be Dumbledore.


Anyway, that's all for now--enjoy what's left of summer! We felt some of the earthquake yesterday--hopefully no more geologic rocking and rolling up here!
