And not a moment too soon for any of us! Phoebe is thrilled to be in 3rd grade and back with all her friends. And she is looking forward to taking care of the class animals. Right now, her job is lunch ticket taker and attendance.
We finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and watched the movie. Phoebe enjoyed the part when Hermione accidentally turned herself into a cat, and she thought Prof. Lockhart was silly. Ron throwing up slugs she could have done without. :) We have gone back to the world of Percy Jackson and are reading The Battle of the Labyrinth.
She has finished School Days According to Humphrey and Adventure According to Humphrey, so that, I think, brings her up-to-date on all things hamster. Unfortunately, H's "lock that doesn't lock" was discovered--taking away his all-access pass to the outside world, but Phoebe hinted that he found another way to get out. Will have to ask for more information. She also said that if she hadn't already committed to Hermione, she would have been Humphrey this year.
Phoebe is in between books at the moment. Don't think she has settled on anything for sure yet--though she was considering Saving Zasha last night.
