Phoebe just finished Hamster in a Handbasket from the Animal Ark series. The series features all different animals because the parents of the main character are vets, which is probably why Phoebe likes it. We also seem to be on a bit of a hamster kick at the moment with Humphrey and now this hamster--who happens to be named Henry.
We are still working on The Titan's Curse together. On her own, Phoebe is reading The Kingdom of Fantasy, which is a longer book from the Geronimo Stilton series, who, like Magic Treehouse, is on his way out, unfortunately.
