Hello everyone--
Phoebe finished two books this past week: A Mouse Called Wolf, by Dick King-Smith, which is about the runt in a little of mice who is given the very large name of Wolfgang Amadeus Mouse, or Wolf for short. It turns out he is also a really good singer. Since Phoebe is self-conscious of being the shortest in her class, she could probably relate to Wolf.
The other was The Falcon's Feathers, which is from the A to Z Mystery series. This one she actually read on her own--and I tested her afterward to make sure! Something tells me our nightly read-together sessions will soon be coming to an end.
We are still reading Into the Wild, and those cats have some intense politics! Phoebe keeps wondering if they will make a movie out of it. Probably, but the CGI would have to be spectacular in order for it not to bomb!
