Phoebe liked Pinky Pick, the annoying assistant, and the song she liked to sing to really get people riled. We sang it to Zabar, who was not impressed. Phoebe also liked the name of the volcano that Geronimo almost went to: Mount Gong-gong-bang-a-gong-dong. She can't say it, but she keeps asking me to!
By the way, according to Amazon, the Geronimo Stilton and Bunnicula books are for fourth graders! And Percy Jackson is for seventh-eighth graders! Phoebe rocks!
We are back to the Magic Tree House for a spell, but the rest of the Bunnicula books are arriving, so I imagine we'll be back with our vampire bunny soon!
Digressing to grown-up books for a second, I am halfway through The Girl Who Played with Fire--the sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
And, lastly, Zabar is in a contest for the Cutest Pet of 2011--to be featured in a calendar put out by the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society. It does cost $1 to vote for her, but it is for a good cause!
Hope you all are having a good summer and enjoying some good books!
