We finished Attack of the Bandit Cats, and the cats did not fare so well! Geronimo and his clan managed to relieve the cats of their ship and their treasure. Of course, the cats were perhaps weakened by a steady diet of snails since their captain was allergic to fish!
On another note, Phoebe was actually excited to buy fresh spinach at the Farmers' Market, which she requested since we ran out of what came in our CSA box. Today's lunch consisted of brown rice with spinach, olive oil, and oregano (she picked that over basil), cucumber (she wanted snap peas, but the cuke was already "open"), blueberries, and soy-ham. Add some fruit punch and Fruity Bunnies, and she probably had the best lunch at school! Her current favorite veggie list is spinach, bok choi (which used to be #1), and sugar snap peas. Gotta love it!
I don't remember the name of the book we are reading now--hence the food digression. Maybe I need more spinach!
