Phoebe is in her first official week of camp and loving it, as usual. This week the theme is music and art--two things she enjoys. She is also looking forward to her birthday next week. We have a wedding on her actual birthday, so the following Friday, she's having some friends over, and someone is coming to give them all manicures and pedicures. Should be a riot.
Phoebe finished Trading Faces, and then read Aquamarine and Athena the Brain, the first book in the Goddess Girls series. Now she is reading The Black Stallion, which was one of my all time favorites when I was her age, and the second book from her reading list.
We are still working on Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire together. Camp wears Phoebe out, so we haven't been spending as much time reading in the evening as we used to!
