This Week's Lunch!

Well, we are still going with the new-lunch-a-week theme courtesy of Vegan Lunch Box. This week it's "Pups in a Blanket"--Smart Dogs wrapped in dough and baked. She took one for lunch yesterday and said her friend Mercedes almost stole it from her--maybe I should have made a double batch..... That was the only recipe for this week's menu--other items were fruits, veggies, and on-hand cookies.

Last week's cookies were a big hit with everyone--it made a lot, so I spread them around. My friend Amy (that is NY Amy, not SD Amy) ate hers in her car, and a squirrel tried to get in an try one--see picture below. He wouldn't go away!

This is supposed to be about reading, so on to that. Phoebe is reading Nighty-Nightmare from the Bunnicula series, and we are still working through The Battle of the Labyrinth from the Percy Jackson series.
