We finished Balto and the Great Race, about the diphtheria epidemic in Nome and the race to bring anti-toxin to the sick people via dogsled. At one point, one of the mushers, the one driving Balto and his team, crashes and loses the box holding the anti-toxin. Phoebe's favorite part was when the musher found the medicine.
We also finished Horse Crazy, the first of the Saddle Club series. Not sure what Phoebe's favorite part was--it had horses, so that is probably enough!
Right now we are reading The Sea of Monsters, the second in the Percy Jackson series. We are only a few chapters in, but it has been pretty good so far!
