Phoebe finished two books recently: The Hotel Cat, which she read with David (and they've been working on it for a long time!), and Thea Stilton and the Mountain of Fire, from the Geronimo Stilton spin-off series.
Apparently, a lot of the cats in The Hotel Cat spent time on their tail ends, because Phoebe said that was her overall favorite bit. I forgot to ask her about Mountain of Fire, but if I had to guess, it would be when all the Australian mice helped Collette get ready for the Outback Ball--since she was all messy from falling in a swamp.
Last night we started Summer of the Sea Serpent--from the Magic Treehouse series. She initially said she wanted to read The Lightning Thief, but she chickened out at the last minute!
