Well, thanks to David being away at the MLA convention, we whipped right through Haunted Castle on Hallow's Eve. Phoebe's favorite part was when the "ghost" children became visible again.
I asked her about her favorite part of Four Mice Deep in the Jungle, and she said, giggling, that she liked when Penelope Poisonfur, Geronimo's drill sergeant/jungle guide, woke Geronimo up each morning by pouring a bucket of ice water on his head. She also like the fact that they had to eat worms for breakfast--followed by gratitude that those things weren't part of her morning routine!
I'm on a waitlist for the next books in both series, so Phoebe will have to pick something new for her next book! That has yet to be determined, so stay tuned!
