Phoebe finished Good Morning, Gorillas last night--the next Magic Tree House book. Tomorrow she is going to a kid's book club at our local Barnes and Noble where they are going to be talking about The Knight at Dawn, #2 in the series.
Her favorite part of Gorillas was when Jack and Annie were playing with the "kid" gorillas, named Bu-bu and Ho-ho. I liked the part where Jack and Annie taught the gorillas to sign "I Love You."
They are having a recital of sorts at the end of camp today, to finish off their week on the 1930s. They have painted like Jackson Pollock and learned to sing "Over the Rainbow."
